Different projects have different requirements. Here's what we look for:

Registered as a sole trader or limited company. We work with legitimate businesses, not cash-job operators.

✓ Experience Level (Depends on Project Type)

Small jobs (maintenance, repairs, weekend work): Proven competency and quality work. Portfolio or references showing you can deliver.

Large projects (renovations, new builds, complex work): Minimum 3-5 years as an independent operator, full licensing, and comprehensive insurance. We need certainty you can deliver major work.

How much does it cost to join?

Unlike other platforms that charge monthly or annual subscription fees just to access leads, we only charge a small success fee when you actually win a job through the network. No work = no cost. No upfront risk.

This means you're not paying ongoing fees hoping to win enough work to cover your subscription—you only pay when you're already making money from a won project.

What happens if a job grows into more work?

If a $5k deck job turns into $50k of ongoing work with that client, that's all yours. We're not taking ongoing fees on relationships you build. The client becomes your client—you can work with them directly from there.

How many jobs will I get?

It depends on your trade, location, availability, and how competitive your quotes are. We can't guarantee work volume, but we aim to match quality trades with suitable projects when available.

Do I have to take every job offered?

No. You review project details and decide whether to quote. You're an independent operator—you choose what work you take.

Can I join if I'm currently working for someone else?

We work with many sole traders who take on independent work alongside other commitments. However, it's important you review any employment or contractor agreements you have to ensure you're able to take on independent work. We recommend seeking advice if you're unsure about your contractual obligations.

What if I'm already busy?

Perfect. We can set your availability status to "limited" or "future bookings." Join now, get set up, and activate when you're ready for more work.

Can I leave the network anytime?

Yes. No lock-in contracts. If it's not working for you, you can leave anytime. We want trades who want to be here.

Do you do in-person meetups?

Yes. We run regular catchups and events around West Auckland—usually at local cafes or spots in the community. It's a chance to meet other trades in the network, share knowledge, and build real relationships. When new trades join, we often have experienced network members there to meet them and provide input on fit. We're building a proper community, not just a digital platform.
